*In July 2024, Jefferson Center and WellPower will merge into one community mental health center serving Clear Creek, Denver, Gilpin, and Jefferson Counties.

The process requires a thoughtful investment of resources and expertise to chart the right course and to determine the right timing. We want to make sure we have time to thoughtfully engage our teams, our stakeholders, and our communities in coming together. At this time, we are aiming to merge on July 1, 2024, and will share more information as it becomes available.

Doctoral Internships

We are committed to recruiting culturally and ethnically diverse interns. All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.

Internships

Our internships are open to doctoral students and graduate students in their second year of counseling, social work, or psychology. Jefferson Center also provides a limited number of internships for undergraduates and first-year grad students.

Nurse Practitioner Clinical Program

Nurse Practitioners work primarily with our Adult Outpatient population. Each semester, we accept two nurse practitioner students. Apply today for clinical placement opportunities.
