Kiara Kuenzler PsyD, LP – President & CEO
Dr. Kuenzler brings a fierce passion and vision for a healthy community. She seeks community partnerships and innovative solutions to meet the growing and diverse needs of the people served and drives excellence and equity in care to promote wellbeing and thriving communities.
Her education and experience have brought her to this space where she has overseen unprecedented growth at Jefferson Center and has driven a reputation among State and National leaders as a trusted, innovative, and responsive organization.
Additionally, Dr. Kuenzler’s commitment to a culture of belonging and creating an organization of engaged, mission-focused, top talent has led to being a Denver Post Top Workplace for 12 years in a row.
Brandon Ward, PsyD – VP, CINO, and Information System
Brandon is a dynamic healthcare leader, bringing together deep clinical insight, experience with complex technology solutions, and an innovative and collaborative style to transform behavioral healthcare in Colorado and beyond.
His experience providing clinical care brought a unique perspective when he transitioned to technology innovations, where he brought the challenges he experienced as a clinician to tackle some of the systemic problems he could not address as a provider.
Brandon’s dynamic and thought leadership brings together professionals across the center and community to build robust, secure, and innovative solutions to behavioral healthcare’s toughest challenges.
Lenya Robinson, MA, LPC – COO
Lenya’s experience and passion are essential to her role and overseeing a number of diverse clinical, operational and quality teams at Jefferson Center.
Prior leadership roles have contributed to a wealth of knowledge that guides decisions to best support and care for the people we serve while also meeting the guidelines required for Colorado’s behavioral health regulatory requirements. 
Lenya uses her experiences to help understand and navigate the complexities of community mental health. During her time providing care to children, adolescents, and adults, specializing in the treatment of trauma, as well as all treatment settings, she gained unique perspectives that bring together the goals of meeting the needs of the community while demonstrating operational excellence.
Jessica Dunbar, MSPH – SPH Chief Business Development Officer
Jessica is dedicated to helping people live their best life and supporting the connections between mind, body, and community. Throughout her education and career, she has dedicated her time and talent to expanding access to care, especially for vulnerable populations, and implementing transformational innovations in the health care sector to improve community health.
Her experience leading safety net providers as well as focusing on state reform has developed some of the most successful solutions to ensuring care is accessible for all.
Jessica now drives Jefferson Center’s business development strategy, with an eye towards mission-focused opportunities that ensure people have the supports they need in all aspects of life that directly impact positive outcomes for mental health.
David Goff, MBA – VP, Administration, CFO
David brings nearly 33 years of financial expertise, with over 28 of those at Jefferson Center. As CFO, he leads the organization’s financial, administrative, and risk management operations, ensuring sound strategies to safeguard assets and deliver accurate financial reporting.
His work includes overseeing accounting, budgeting, financial planning, and property acquisitions. David’s deep experience in asset management has helped expand Jefferson Center’s affordable and supportive housing initiatives, furthering its mission to provide stable housing for our community.
He holds an MBA from Regis University and a BS from Colorado State University.
Donald Bechtold, MD, DLFAPA, DFAACAP – Chief Medical Officer & VP Healthcare and Integration
Prior to coming to Jefferson Center in 2001, Dr. Bechtold served as faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and as adjunct faculty at the Denver Seminary in the Master of Arts in Counseling program, and as a contract consultant with the Indian Health Service.
He is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he also received his post-graduate specialty training in General Psychiatry and his subspecialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Bechtold also serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Front Range Health Partners. Dr. Bechtold continues to teach, consult, publish, and present both regionally and nationally.
