Saturday, Aug. 23rd | Healthy Kids Expo
9:00 am – 1:00 pm | Gold Crown Field House – 150 S Harlan St. Lakewood, CO
Youth explore the variety of ways in which health matters through the Health Huddle’s three pillars: Sports Performance, Healthy Habits, Mental Health. All ages are welcome, but most activities will be targeted for 5 – 14 year olds.
Monday, Aug. 25th | Adult Blended Mental Health First Aid
9:00 am – 4:30 pm | Virtual
Mental Health First Aid is an interactive eight hour course that presents an overview of mental illness and substance use disorders in the U.S. and introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact, and overviews common treatments.
