These services are available for any mental health, substance use or emotional crisis, 24/7. Call 1-844-493-8255 or Text TALK to 38255 to access Colorado Crisis Services. Jefferson Center’s Crisis & Recovery Center is one of the walk-in crisis facilities that are open 24/7 providing support, information, and referrals to anyone in need. There are twelve walk-in crisis centers located throughout the state, with seven in the metro area.
Jefferson Center has developed partnerships with three law enforcement agencies in Jefferson County including the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), Arvada, and Lakewood Police Departments. This collaboration allows for two clinicians to work within each respective agency. Our clinicians are able to assist law enforcement with mental health-related calls such as evaluation and assessment of individual(s), psychoeducation for family members, care coordination between JCSO and Jefferson Center, and linkage to services both internally and externally within Jefferson Center.
