At Jefferson Center we value the inclusion of mental health awareness in the workplace, and have a variety of classes, training sessions and public speakers to aid to your organizations efforts to build the conversation around mental health at your organization.
Mental Health First Aid
Do you want to help your employees recognize a range of mental health problems and gain the skills and confidence to help someone in a mental health crisis? Mental Health First Aid offers a concrete action plan to help someone in crisis connect with appropriate professional, peer and self-help care. The course will provide useful skills in both personal and professional settings for all employees. The course can be delivered in either one 8-hour session or two 4-hour sessions. Exercises can be adapted to address the common scenarios you encounter.
We offer a variety of course models including:
- Adult Mental Health First Aid
- Mental Health First Aid for Veterans
- Youth Mental Health First Aid – designed for adults who regularly interact with young people (ages 12-18).

Speakers Bureau
The Speakers Bureau at Jefferson Center shares our resources and knowledge with businesses, civic clubs, church groups, schools, and other organizations in our area. We’ll share information on a wide range of mental health topics by mental health therapists, executives and other experts in the field.
