A Season of Giving, A Season of Hope

Dear Community,

This time of year invites reflection, gratitude, and generosity. As the days grow shorter and the holidays bring us together, we are reminded of the profound impact we can have when we care for one another.

In community mental health, the season of giving carries special meaning. Philanthropy becomes a source of hope—helping ensure that individuals and families have access to compassionate, timely mental health care when they need it most. During a season that can be joyful for many, it can also be isolating or overwhelming for others. Your generosity helps meet people where they are, with dignity and respect.

This impact goes beyond services. It shows up in a child who can focus at school, a parent who finds stability and inner peace, a neighbor who regains purpose, and a family that stays together during a difficult season. These moments ripple outward, strengthening workplaces, schools and neighborhoods across our community.

Philanthropy is more than a donation—it’s a partnership in healing. It reflects a shared belief that mental health care is essential, that recovery is possible, and that everyone deserves an opportunity to thrive.

As we celebrate this season of giving, we extend our deepest gratitude to all who support community mental health and the Jefferson Center. By donating to our Hope Hero Campaign, your generosity lights the way forward, bringing hope, healing, and connection to those who need it the most.

Wishing you and your loved one’s peace, warmth and joy this holiday season—and thank you for being a part of our community of care.

With deep appreciation and hope,

Sarah M. Alquist
