Mission
As a diverse group of volunteers, we seek to support our communities and prevent suicide through collaboration and connection.
About the Coalition
The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Jefferson, Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties is a diverse group of community organizations and interested individuals seeking to address the issue of suicide in our communities. We are mental health providers, members of faith communities, social workers, school staff, health specialists, law enforcement, business owners, suicide loss and attempt survivors, caregivers, and community members who provide training, resources, and information around the issue of suicide prevention.
The Coalition is open to anyone who would like to participate in furthering our mission
Meeting Information
The Coalition meets the 3rd Wednesday of February, April, June, August, and October from 12-1:30 p.m. Contact us for more information on participating.
Priority Action Groups
Action Groups are based on community consensus where additional collaborative work is needed. Contact us for more information specific projects and to participate in action groups.

Supporting Families Action Group
By acknowledging both shared experiences and differences in access to basic needs, collaborative efforts can aim to facilitate more equitable access to resources and support.
Burnout Prevention Action Group
Collaborative partners can prevent and assist with recovery from burnout by advocating for meaningful self-care, increased provider compensation, and other avenues of consistent support.
Culturally Relevant Care and Support Action Group
Regional collaboration must center around culturally relevant care and support related to trainings, services, and support to strengthen trust, care, and access of services.
Suicide Prevention Training for All Action Group
Collective impact results from consistent and collaborative suicide prevention education to remove stigma and normalize conversation around suicide.
